IN SILENCE, WE KNOW.

my goodness, this blog might as well be dead, BUT! not to fear. i've got something to write about.

today, i decided to walk home from church. as much as i love having company and friends around me, i also happen to appreciate the very few moments that i get to be alone in silence.

its when the world just stops spinning and you get some time to take in everything that's happening around you.
i love that feeling. sometimes things just happen too fast to handle. good times go as fast as they come. but then again, we can't expect everything to last.

so we hold on to every good moment there is till the very last second. yes we grief when its time for the good to end, BUT, at least it was AWESOME while it lasted

i went clubbing with my friends yesterday, and i found out there's still so many people i need to learn about. I DEFINITELY HAD LOADS OF FUN.

i got to know a few peeps better. AWESOME. reached home at 5, 0.5cm slimmer.(:

yup! today is another day of RP, another day of lack of sleep, another day of presentation.
its a BRAND new day :)
the sun is not up today.

i wanna go kite flying!

you're prolly wondering why im entering a post this late at night,
haha i just got back from camp and on the way home i saw loads of families out in open fields kite flying.

and i was thinking (yeah, you know imma say next don't you?)

AWESOMEEEEEEEE. (thats my new fav word)

anywho, I WANNA GO KITE FLYING! it's super pretty watching the kites fly gracefully against the wind.

they somehow remind me of stingrays in the ocean don't you think so? and its a relaxing and fun activity to do with family or for a date ;)

okay random right? hahah! i'll prolly have to do a I.O.U on the camp deets. too lazy for now ((: heeee.

I STARTING TO THINK, THE WEATHER MIGHT BE SUFFERING FROM MOOD SWINGS

yup you heard me..

one day its hot and stuffy like the world is one big pie baking in the oven,

the next its a thunderstorm.

i'll tell you why the weather is so PMS-sy its cause, of GLOBAL WARMING.

but i aint gonna preach about it here in this entry, cause im sure everyone knows about it and how to prevent

from making the hole in the ozone bigger than it already is.

looks like today, we're on the wetter side of the weather's swings.

i think its gonna be a thunderstorm and the rain's gonna pour like there's no tmr.
so i'll just stay home cuddled up in my bed with my hoddie.
there's one thing i love about thundery, rainy days like this.

yeah i know most girls would run from it, but i find it interesting.

FIREWORKS AND PWEEETY LIGHTS.

i had a great time with B yesterday.(: the day started with us going down to MOE to collect his O'level cert for his retake in english. and i think that he might left out a LITTLE detail.

here's what happened:

after the security check and getting our visitor's pass, we went on to proceed to the customer service centre.
and a customer service officer greeted us and asked if he could help, so B explained that he wanted to collect his cert. and the officer just said, but collection is not until the 15th march. HAHAH! you should've seen his blurred face. i started laughing too. LOL! the whole senario was so funny. apparently it was stated in the letter too. LOL READING COMPREHENSION FAIL. anyways when we left the security guard was so shocked and how was we were done. and when B told him in the most singlish manner, he laughed too. LOL! okay after that embarassing incident, it was time to head to RP.

there was nothing weird about enrollment, only that we i and B passed by this group of malay guys one guys whispered to the other, and the whole group stared. LIKE WHAT'S THERE TO STARE AT DUDES?

okay, after enrollment, we caught ' BEING HUMAN' directed by the our VERY OWN TIGER WOODS (jack neo) i guess he was just 'BEING HUMAN' making mistakes and submitting to TEMPTATION. i think the comedy part of that show is good, but the storyline sucks. TOO MUCH REWINDING.

we headed to habourfront for dinner, and sat down at the jetty, the view opposite us was the IR and UNIVERSAL STUDIOS. THAN CAME THE FIREWORKS. exactly when B said it would be. the lights were so pretty. we sat there and chatted. and took photos! ((:

i scrolled over to the toolbar to get a look at today's date, and i found out that im going to enrol to a school tmr.

GOSH.

a fresh start to a utterly new place. thank god for the few faces that i might know, but they are all seniors. oh well, i guess i have to make do with whatever life throws at me.

its only up to me to make it a good thing or a bad thing. RIGHT?
its times like this when i wished i was at the river with my friends hanging and chilling.
yesterday, when i was on the way to work, i passed by TPJC. and a group of students boarded the bus.
THEY WERE SUPER NOISY i tell you.

but i couldn't blame them. i felt a pang of nostalgia sinking in. i used to be in that noisy group, irritating people in the bus on the way home with laughter.

payback's a bitch innit? hahah!

i just hope i survive the unfamiliar place called RP.

i was reading this agatha christie book "And Then There Were None'. i was intrigued at how the author encaptures eeriness and mystery at the same time just unfolding a murder story based on this NURSERY RYHME.

"Ring a Ring O' Roses" is said to be a macabre parody on the horrors of the Great Plague. i just opened the letterbox not long ago and guess what i found? MY RP ENROLMENT PACKAGE.

uh-huh. in my mind i was like 'WOAH'. a mixed emotions of excitment, fear of the unknown and monophobia engulfed me. throughout my way back to the lift, up to my house, i was thinking:

- what will RP be like?
- will i make friends there?
- what are the people there like?
- what will i be learning?
- what to wear?

hahah the last one maybe unnecessary, but there are so many questions swarming in my head right now.
i guess i'll just need to take one step at a time.
the only thing that im sure of now is:

what a pleasant surprise♥

okay today's weather is acceptable. anyways, i came back home last night from a day out with B.
so i took a bus down to eunos near his place, which had a straight bus to orchard cineleisure. so, he was saying that he wanted to watch this two local CHINESE shows badly. so i agreed to accompany him. for those of you guys who know me, i ain't exactly a fan of CHINESE furthermore LOCAL movies. UNLESS its horror. i think 'the maid' was brilliant.

so upon reaching there, he told me that the movie would be starting at 7 and we decided to split up. he'll get the tickets, i'll buy the grub and drinks. i took only awhile cause there was no queue. so i went over to the ticketing queue where he was looking at the seatings. he tried to shield the screen from me too. LOL! but when the whole transaction was done, i could see from the computer screen that he bought tickets to THIS MOVIE:

a show that i thought we would never be able to watch cause we waited too long to find the time to. and i gave up on the hopes that we would ever catch it on screen.

"OMG!" escaped through my mouth LOUDLY. and he smiled.
that's SUPER SWEET!!!!! (:(:

I SWEAR I CAN'T SWIM FOR NUTS.

yup laugh all you want, after around 5 years of not swimming in a pool, my 'TALENT' got worst.
hahha oh oh! i went tanning with baby today((: so im like super bronze now. woooo!!
idk if it matches my hair uh. but whatever, i just wanted to get rid of my uneven tan.
baby says he wants to teach me how to swim.
i've got one thing to say to you.

i had loads of fun though, just splashing about in the water and going into the children's pool ( can you believe the water level went to my chest! yeah i know im short so you don't have to RUB IT IN.) EVEN PRIMARY SCHOOL KIDS CAN SWIM BETTER THAN ME. SO EMBARRASSING.

so we went to century square's food court for lunch, PEPPER LUNCH AFTER SWIMMING IS GREAT!
after that we went for a short walk to find jigsaw puzzles and then go our seperate ways to sleep. poor baby had work ):

after my nap, i met lah lah for a catch up and i discovered why we are good friends, WE THINK ALIKE.
hahha i really miss that fella. we reminisced about times in MI, and all those happy times ((:

hello there! i know that im supposed to flood this post with pictures and videos

BUT youtube is a being such a B***H

HELP! i can't feel my right hand!

my goodness... what a fun but tiring day i had today.
okay so here's what went down.

SCHOOL! hahha! YAY! come to think of it, i haven't had lectures in ages!
today was the first day of my new module! B decided to send me to school (:
then i met melly and farith ( it was so nice to see them again!) at the nearby macs before heading up to the new learning centre.

MY GOODNESS... the lecturer makes weird sound effects i swear. haha!
for example, he tried to impersonate a harley davidson's sound.
he went like 'BOOMS!' i was surprised. cause i swear it sounded more like something exploding.
ahah!

anyways, after 3hrs of weird sound effects and MARKETING,
i rushed down to tanah merah to play some tennis with gloria, adrian and B.
SUPER TIRING! GAWD! adrian was good though. so was B... we girls were like just whacking all the way. after a tiring game, we washed up and headed to glo's house to cook mac and cheese together. hahah! and we had fine dining [THANKS TO ADRIAN. (: he paid for the ingredients] at glo's balcony. (: til 10 plus.

then it was home. by then, my right arm lost its sense of touch. TEMPORARILY (:

this has been from young, the best story i've ever heard.

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed

okay so was woken up early today to accompany mom to bring grandpa for his check up at the polyclinic today.

and turns out that his eye problem was kinda serious so the GP there reverted him to CGH for a appointment today so i was woah... I HAD NO TIME TO STUDY! half of the day was spent at the hospital. although i brought my books along to read, there was no proper table where i can make notes and i NEED to make notes and not to mention, i could study in the midst of nurses yelling out names of patients who needed to make a quick eye check plus seeing my grandpa's eyes being checked by the OPHTHALMOLOGIST [yup, i learnt a word today ] was kinda interesting... and i mean 'you-get-to-see-through-his-pupils-and-retina!' interesting ((:

so the diagnosis was that he had some bleeding behind the retina due to either old age or hemorrhage OH AND he has brown cataracts [like what in the world does that mean?]

okay so came home around 5 had no mood to study and am now really sleepy...

okay so off to bed i go before i wake at the ungodly hours to study.

THE GORE-TACULAR

i swear halloween 2 is a gore fest. not only that, its the first show that i don't really understand with all the flash backs and 'just a dream' moments of the show. only the gore seems straight forward.
all i can draw from this show is that how deeply disturbed the protagonist was after the massacre. that although micheal myers was dead he was still haunting her mentally.

so the WHOLE SHOW WAS MENTAL AND VIOLENT. HENCE, M18...

haha oh and B thought that i would react like most girls would while watching a horror film. with squeals and screams.

i haven't watched a proper horror show in ages. like supernatural stuff.. no more zombies or physchotic pre-mature adults killing people...

ARGH... i missed another party today. NO FAIR! 2 parties in a row! )): had to miss them cause of work... oh well... its either fun or money. okay today despite having only like a total of 6 hours sleep and im not talking about straight... 3 hrs before going to church, 3 after coming home from church...
and now i just reached home from work... i think my legs are tired.. they're refusing to move to get water. =.= okay anyways... im off tmr! still figuring out how to cram in my I.T studies before my exams on fri. argh! i hate coms...

i just use them. and i don't see the reason why we have to know them in detail. im doing business admin.. not preparing for my masters in electronic devices.

okay this time, i MUST GET AT LEAST A B GRADE for my next module. the final and last one.

next week draws nearer. i have to prepare for my upcoming major exams and diploma course. so i have to quit my job sooner or later. plus i'm not sure if im going back to the Phils cause calamities have happened there. if i am, the sooner i should hand in my letter of resignation. i really hope i can go back cause its been awhile and i wanna catch basketball season.

was just talking to a friend just now. then it struck me how fragile love is and how time really is a trickster. change can take place through time. then harsh reality strikes you that it might never be the same again. the pain's there. it hurts.

hey guys i wouldn't wanna keep updating on things that you might have already seen on facebook so yeah. all the little outings with the family (to ELSHADDAI on sunday), darius's performance at the arts house and timbre after that (on monday) was great ((: had been kinda busy attending these two events with B but it was absolutely worth it.

oh crap there's something wrong with my blog background BOOO~~~

oh well, the past week has been actually quite fruitful... ((: had been quite busy... planning for mom's birthday and all. haha i made her cry! haha! we threw her a surprise birthday party. ((: with the help of B and jordy, we made her a pressie.. ((: the picts are all on fb ((: anyways it was a great party.. oh and i managed to finally go for a long awaited midnight run... B was kind enough to accompany me ((: it was actually quite random. we went for a midnight jog all the way to pasir ris ((: and he jogged all the way from like eunos to meet me at tamp at like 1 am. such a sweetie((:

although, its abit kinda whacked to be running the middle of the night in my MI pe tee. LOL. i swear my body is so in need of a shape up... thanks B for being such a sweetie and condoning to my weird antics. ((:

anyways, i can't help but to feel weird. i know i haven't caught up with a few of my friends already, and i feel that i might be drifting far away from them. those who used to be VERY CLOSE to me. and that scares me. idk... maybe im just feeling too sensitive, but i really don't like to lose close friends cause once someone's been a close friend to me, they take a part of me. and when a close friend is lost, a part is gone. yeah that's how much friends mean to me.

okay im new to this blogging about how dates are and how my bf is so so sweet.
but im gonna try anyways, everything's got a first..

so yeah here's the 4-11 for those who have not been catching up with me lately. ( and you guys better do something about that,) yes, jo is finally ATTACHED. haha! know its hard to believe for some of you. but, oh well. ((: yes... gone are the days where i didn't have anyone to talk me to sleep. (except for the times when lah lah and shafiq accompanied me til 3)

i went to changi airport with B today. we ate swensen's baked rice and had gold rush today! ahha! cravings were satisfied ((: yummy! haven't had baked rice from swensens in like ages! couldn't say the same for the US fries though, they were cold and weird tasting. haha! okay, after a satisfying meal, we went to the viewing hall and watched the planes. actually come to think of it it was kinda boring but we had each other for company so it made it great ((: oh yeah we took pictures too but its in B's phone so yeah you guys have to wait and see :B

i think B's a real sweetie... lol he came to my house and met my parents and went out with me and some of my closest friends already and we are only into day 8. oh and the rings too! LOVEEE HIM!

((: ever wonder how much someone can make an impact on your life? i do. i don't know why but i have a habit of thinking or reflecting before my body shuts down. i like to think about stuff while gazing at stars (artificially luminous ones) that i have above my bed. i think of everyone from my family, good friends to my besties and even my ENEMIES. how each and everyone contributed to ME as a person. growing up has not been easy for everyone in their own way, everyone has ups and downs. 'whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger.' they say. yes i agree. its part and parcel of growing up. being who you are now has been the result of mutiple good and bad experiences in your past. some people might not be happy with who they are as a person, but I KNOW I AM.

SOOOOOOO.. im here to tell you, im grateful for each and everyone of my family, friends, enemies, good times and bad times. thank God for them, cause without them, i wouldn't be ME. and I LOVE ME ((: ( sounds self absorbent, but i believe first you have to love yourself before you can love others.)

haha pretty right? i can't wait to see this pretty little sights again soon. idk... when i see these colourful stars outside the homes of many in the phils, there's a very fuzzy warmth in my heart that makes me smile.

its seems to be crazy to think christmas is VERY NEAR here in singapore. but there, CHRISTMAS HAS ALREADY STARTED.

its been awhile since i wrote a song. haha! i guess i don't have the time or patience these few days. but allthese song writing energy is stuck up in my head now. waiting for me to pick up a pen and paper to write them all out till im happy. as i type, phrases are still forming in my head.

THE GREAT ESCAPE.

hey hey!!! haha few days more before i have to sit for my diploma exams and settle stuff before i head on for a holiday to the Phils, to enjoy the kampong life. idk.. its like when we reach there its a different environment altogether than in Singapore. the traffic there is horrendous. i seriously suggest the government either build more roads or raise the tax of cars. oh but then again, the government itself is corrupted, and the country faces violence and its always broadcasted on the news. but that's just in the city.. compared to singapore, its 10x worst. but, kampong life, ROCKS. idk maybe, just maybe, im so sick of the hectic-ness of singapore ( if that is even a word). in phils, its slow, but enjoyable. families are evencloser there then here. i bet its cause everyone's busy in singapore that we don't take time to STOP or even MAKE THE TIME. anyways.. i can't wait to see my cousins again, take a walk down the streets with them in the only source of light available, THE MOON, to the railroad station, (yes, RAILROAD) to watch the intertown basketball league. AND THEY ARE GOOD!.

I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK. to bad i can't be there for CHRISTMAS. OMG CHIRSTMAS THERE, IS LIKE A FAIRYTALE. ALL TRADITIONAL. LOVVVEEEE IT.

okay enough daydreaming, and back to reality. here's a quickie update. had a chance to meet with leo yesterday... had fun as usual ((: went to bugis to get a new watch and had talk over some apple desserts and i got high on snapple. at night we took a walk down the esplanade river, and talked some more. had to catch up with each other's life. went home around 10? yup... wanted to go for supper, but mom cooked adobo at home. YAY!!!

hey everyone! im gonna squeeze in a little entry before heading of to work. my life has been nothing but filled with drama recently. idk why i always get myself stuck in situations like these. but im hanging on. i can do this. weather this storm. but i seriously miss my MI friends. the ones that i do crappy stuff with but they still think that its not stupid. cause all we do is have fun.
and we know we've got each other's back.

yeah i miss all these crappy people. CRAPPY PEOPLE WHO I LOVE. really wish them good luck for their final exams for year one. i'll be praying for them. and as for me,

the future plans are still set on RP unless some other polys suddenly interests me.. new life. FINALLY. who knows i'll meet some of my friends there too. ((: anyways the plans' still set on going to the phils but maybe earlier cause i have lessons in dec in my private school... YESSSSSSS FINAL MODULE! AWESOME.. get everything over and done with... i can't til new year or christmas... when i can leave this year behind me...

this year hasn't been all that great for me. with leaving school and all. starting in a new environment at work. it hasn't been easy. haha like what's new right? i believe life has its ups and downs.. and its because of the downs, we learn to grow and be a better person. learn to be strong, to perservere when the world is crashing. there's always those who will be there for you no matter what. and im grateful for them. they're my strength. ALL THESE ARE BLESSINGS FROM GOD. with every ending comes a new beginning.

hey everybody ((: im back with a new post... i know its kinda late for blogging.. i just came back from work. its been a crazy week.

monday, he enlisted into the army. miss him indeed.. i bet you guys are smiling right now as you're reading this but hey you post a blog for a reason. which leads to my second part of my entry. but he's coming ou t on sat! ((: without hair! haha! can't wait to see the new look.

people are bound to read the things you blog about. so we actually have to be careful with the things you blogged. it may spark things. yeah. but whatever. what im trying to say is you can write whatever you wanna write on the blog, but if you have problems with people ranting what they feel or talking about what you wrote outside the blogger world, you can't stop anything cause you chose to write about it on the first place?

on tuesday, went out with hui min and bought killer heels and a killer biker jacket ((: haha! NEW STUFF! ((: then went for a movie with chin wee and kenrick. haha the movie was hilarious! BONDS THAT BIND.

hey hey!!!! finally blogger's fine again.. im super pissed that i can't even blog properly... okay here's a little update on my recents.

okay work is fine as usual... til something happened it cause me to discover that i might not have an idea of what i want in a guy. those who have been bothered to catch up with me will know... and thanks guys for not forgetting your dear dear friend ((: so yeah back to the issue... i won't reveal much about it cause im not sure what will come out of it, so im just keeping mum.. but i will say this... okay this past few days i've been hit by harsh realities that could actually CRUSH YOU. but at the same time, creates a MIRACLE and is a BLESSING in disguise too. it might be a little disturbing at first to find some peace in tight situationsnwhere a life is on a line... but not alot of people can see brightness in situations like these. it bonds or brings people together. it reconnects those bonds that have been blurred because of time and space.

LOVE crushes lives, BUT it also gives us a reason for living. how can one thing be the best of both situations? argh.. hmmm..

((: alright.. i had the opportunity to be alone on the bus ride home today. yes i put my earpieces into my ears and let the songs playing consume me. i allowed myslef to think. yeah i've been thinking about things alot often... things that i've expirenced, things that my friends expirenced and told me. hmmm... and i've come to a conclusion that: LIFE AIN'T PERFECT.

and i for one, am thankful that im a optimist. allowing myself to look forward to the brighter things in life instead of the obstacles that stand in the way of happiness. and im grateful for that.
we all nedd a little hope in your hearts to assure us that everything will be alright. be it encouragement from a friend, boyfriend or family, or from that little voice you hear when you feel like the world's crashing down.

HOPE, makes us look forward and not look back on our mistakes, HOPE gives us a chance to make everything right again. AND hope gives us the strength to face each day, cause we know that the next day would be a better day than today ((:
